New computer

Finally i can run incredibots without it running slowly.

I work at an auction house as my day job.
yesterday a school was contracted through us to sell all there old stuff that was in storage.

I took a risk on large black server sitting in the back for about $20 + tax.

once i took it home, i reworked a few things on the inside in a couple of hours, and then installed windows.

Not only is it the loudest computer i have ever heard. It runs with 9.6 GHZs of processor power.
3.67 gigs of memory
as well as i tossed my old 512 video card in it.

only problem is that i have to buy some USB speakers

3.67 gigs!?

My Ipod has more than that.
yet thats it more than the stupid little 2 in this one.


My day job is taking 2 trains to school every day

yeah the new ipods seem to have a lot of memory, but like no processing power. maybe its because they are made for media. not running networks.

my mam has an Iphone 3gs with 16gigs

sorry i wasn't clear, i am talking 3.67 gigs of RAM(random access memory) not virtual memory

the newest ipods has 256 megs of ram but 8-64 gigs of virtual memory

virtual memory it has 700 gigs once i get some raid drivers to recognize the other 500 gigs on the board.

sadly i am stuck with like 200 until then.

size-wise if you grabbed enough ipods to equal the weight of ym server your's is definitely more efficient. 70 LB computer

My main problem is that since i am running xp instead of windows server 2008. i cant get raid drivers for it, i will have to talk to my uncle and see what i can do. he uses raids more than I.

p.s. fire foxes spell checker is awesome.

I'm using google chrome.
the spell check doesn't work too well sometimes.
